Welcome to the Frontier Computer Science web page. We offer a variety of computer science classes including Computer Science I (offered to freshmen) that covers the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint); and Computer Science II (offered to sophomores through seniors.) that covers the Adobe Creative Suite software (InDesign CS, PhotoShop CS, and Illustrator CS). Video Media and Senior Projects are also offered. Yearbook I and II are also offered through the Computer Science Department.

 

Frontier Public School is located in north-central Oklahoma and has an enrollment of about 400 students pre-kindergarten through 12. It is a rural school that serves the communities of Red Rock and Marland, Oklahoma. Frontier is a participant of the laptop program, where all students grades 9 through 12 have available to them a laptop computer to work with. Students do desktop publishing, web page design, as well as working with several software packages that are used in the work force. Students from Frontier graduate with an understanding of technology that surpasses most college students. I am very proud of our student's efforts and I hope you enjoy the student projects and other materials you find on this web site.
