2. Choose the class you are giving a semester test in.
3. Create an assignment called Semester Test that is worth 100 pts, weight 1, and falls on either 5/21/07 or 5/22/07. DO NOT ADD ANY OTHER ASSIGNMENTS ON THE 21st - 22nd. ONLY ADD THE SEMESTER TEST ON THE 21st - 22nd. Save.
4. After you save the assignment the Reporting Term on the Scoresheet of your gradebook will probably change to show T1 grades instead of S1 grades. T1 will have all of the semesters assignments (S1) along with the semester test (E1).

5. Next click the Grade Setup tab.

6. When the screen loads make sure T1 is selected. You should be able to see S1 and E1 below the highlighted T1.

7. With T1 selected choose the Term Weights setting.

8. Below the Term Weights setting you will see E1 and S1 listed with weights of 50 for each. Change the weight of E1 to 11 and the S1 to 89. Save.

You should be able to add your semester test scores in the Scoresheet under the T1 Reporting Term view. This will result in a T1 final grade for each student that is composed of their semester assignments S1 along with their semester test E1. If you DO NOT see grades under the Final Grade T1 column after setting the Reporting Term view to T1 then you have done something wrong.
!!! You have to do these steps to every class even if you don't give a test in the class. !!!
