A Little About Me:
My name is Sherry Cochrane and I grew up in Billings, OK and graduated from Frontier High School in 2003. I then graduated from Oklahoma State University with my B.S. in Early Childhood Education in 2009. This will be my fifth year to teach at Frontier. I have been married to my wonderful husband, Scott for 7 years and we have one beautiful little girl, Sydney who is full of energy! When I am not teaching I love to spend time with my family. I also enjoy watching OSU sports (Go Pokes!), reading, running, and cooking.
I am truly looking forward to getting to know your child & you! As your child’s teacher, it is my goal to have an open line of communication. If you have any questions, concerns, or issues please pick up the phone or send me an e-mail!

What are O.W.L. Binders?
The O.W.L. Binder is a three ring binder that students in my class will use every day to help develop their organizational skills and promote responsibility. It contains folders, pockets, and sheet protectors. The binder is a way of maintaining effective communication between home and school. Hopefully this binder will eliminate lost homework and disorganized backpacks. Your child is required to take this binder home every afternoon and is also responsible for bringing it back to school in the mornings. I will check the contents of the binders every morning.
Why is it called an O.W.L. Binder?
The acronym O.W.L. stands for Organized While Learning. Together, the students, teachers, and parents can communicate effectively using these binders and work together to create a successful year of learning.
The purpose of the binder is to help your child stay organized as they grow and learn responsibility. Your child is required to take the binder home every afternoon and is also responsible for bringing it back to school each morning.
