Today we caught up with Frontier Middle School 5th grader Zayden Roubedeaux, who recently checked out Discover the Continents: Africa by Emily Rose Oachs.

Zayden was quick to proudly point out that he scored a 100% on his AR test over the book! And he’s already on to his next reading adventure: I Am Helen Keller by Brad Meltzer.

When we asked Zayden why he enjoys reading, his answer was simple: “I love reaching my AR goal!”

That’s what we love to hear! Keep reading, keep learning, and keep reaching those goals, Zayden! We are proud of you!

Frontier Elementary first and second graders enjoyed a special performance of the Eagle Play today! High school students brought the story to life through a fun and engaging performance. The play was presented in partnership with the Otoe-Missouria Tribe Health Department and Oklahoma Tribal Engagement Partners (OKTEP). Our second graders are participating in Eagle Adventure, a program that shares messages about healthy eating, physical activity, family, and making healthy choices through stories and hands-on learning. Families, keep the conversation going at home! Ask your student about the Eagle Play. What was their favorite part? What did Eagle and the other characters teach them about being healthy? You might be surprised by what they have to share! A big thank you to our high school student performers for stepping up and creating a special learning experience for our Frontier students.
