November is National Native American Month. Frontier is hosting an art contest for any student Pre-K to 12th grade. Elementary students will receive their coloring sheets in class. Middle School students must pick up coloring sheets from the office, if they are interested in participating. High School students will pick up drawing paper from Mrs. Foster if they would like to participate! ALL entries due no later than Friday, November 18th!
During Red Ribbon Week, students and teachers were challenged with a door decorating contest. Here are some of the results. Thank you to everyone who participated and to the Senior Leadership Class for sponsoring!

Frontier High School bowlers Evie Petrie-Lightfoot, Gavin Lane Thompson, and Steven Koehn competed in a fundraiser bowling tournament in Blackwell, OK to help raise money for SIDS research. #BetterTogether

There is nothing more important to Frontier Public Schools than the safety of our students. The Noble County Sheriff has investigated the situation and advised administrators that school can resume safely on Monday. The employee involved in the situation has been placed on administrative leave. Because this is a personnel matter, I am unable to share additional information at this time.

The Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association has informed Frontier Schools that by having a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.25 and being ranked in the upper one-third of our classification, our Fast-Pitch Softball Team qualified to receive an Academic Achievement Certificate. Congratulations to our Lady Mustangs for this accomplishment!

Noble County Health Department will be at Frontier on Friday, November 4th to administer flu shots. Your student should bring a consent form home for you to sign if you wish for your student to participate. Please return the form by Monday, October 31. Recently, Melea Hoffman came to present History of Otoes in Nebraska and show her relics, pots and pipes to Mrs. Foster's Native American Studies classes. Thank you Ms. Hoffman for coming to Frontier!
Yesterday's Elementary Fall Festival was a hit! Students were able to pet chickens, bunnies, goats, and a pony. They raced through an obstacle course, jumped in a bouncy castle, rode a hay ride, picked pumpkins, got face paintings, played Bingo, and enjoyed a snack. Thank you, Mrs. Brannon for organizing the event and to all the volunteers! It was a great day.
