This week some of our Agricultural Education students traveled to Oklahoma Panhandle State University for the annual FFA Interscholastic Contest. Our students participated in the land judging event. Land judging serves as a tool to teach youth about the field of soil science and the use and management of soils. It is a program designed to guide them toward the understanding and importance of:
1. Basic soil properties as they affect the use and management of soils.
2. Management practices applicable to the care and management of soil and water. #BetterTogether #FrontierMustangs

Help Your Child Succeed in School: School success goes hand in hand with being in school every day!
DID YOU KNOW? Missing just a day or two every month can make it harder to learn to read by the third grade.
WHAT CAN YOU DO? Avoid missing school unless a child is truly sick and seek help if chronic illness is a challenge. Check with our school nurse or office staff if you are not sure about when to keep your child at home due to illness.

Frontier's revised mission and vision statements were approved at this morning's regular board meeting. These were developed by our parent leadership committee and teacher leadership committee. Students and staff were able to vote on which ones they felt best reflected the direction of our school. Thank you to those who volunteered their time to discuss and refine these important statements for our district. Vision and mission statements provide schools with an overview of where they want to go and what they want to be. Vision and mission statements establish clear expectations and standards for the whole school community, and help the school reach common goals. #BetterTogether

We cordially invite any veteran to join us this Thursday, November 11th at 8 a.m. for breakfast on the cafeteria stage. The Veterans Day program will follow at 9 a.m. in the auditorium.
